Vinyl wrapping in Dubai for kitchens, wardrobes and doors
Replacing a kitchen or wardrobe is expensive, noisy and time-consuming. If the units are still solid but the finish looks dated, scratched or faded, vinyl wrapping is a smart alternative. A high-quality architectural vinyl film is applied directly to the existing surfaces, giving them a completely new colour and texture in a fraction of the time and cost. Best Home Fixes provides professional vinyl wrapping across Dubai, with skilled, insured installers, more than 11 years of experience and a price agreed before we start.
What we can vinyl wrap
- Kitchen cabinet doors and drawer fronts.
- Wardrobe doors, including sliding and hinged doors.
- Interior doors and door frames.
- Kitchen worktops and splashbacks (with suitable films).
- Tables, desks and other furniture.
- Reception counters, office furniture and shop fittings.
- Lift interiors and wall panels in commercial spaces.
Finishes and colours
Architectural vinyl films come in hundreds of finishes. Popular choices in Dubai include matt solid colours such as sage green, navy, grey and off-white; wood grain finishes that look like oak, walnut or teak; marble and stone effects; high-gloss finishes; and metallic and concrete textures. Good films are designed for interiors, resist scratches and moisture, and can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
How vinyl wrapping works
Vinyl wrapping is a careful, skilled process. The quality of the result depends on the preparation and the installer’s technique, especially around edges and corners.
- Inspection. We check that surfaces are solid and suitable. Swollen or damaged boards need repair first.
- Remove hardware. Handles, knobs and sometimes doors are removed for a cleaner finish.
- Clean and degrease. Surfaces are cleaned thoroughly, especially in kitchens where grease builds up.
- Repair and prime. Small chips and dents are filled and sanded, and a primer is used where needed for better adhesion.
- Apply the film. The vinyl is laid with a squeegee, heated with a heat gun to wrap around edges and corners, and trimmed precisely.
- Refit and finish. Hardware is refitted, doors are adjusted and the area is cleaned.
Vinyl wrapping vs replacing or painting
Compared with replacement, vinyl wrapping costs much less, produces almost no dust or waste and is usually finished in one or two days, so you can keep using your kitchen. Compared with painting cabinets, vinyl gives a smooth, factory-like finish without brush marks and doesn’t need drying time or strong paint smells. It’s a great option for landlords refreshing rental units and for homeowners who want a new look without a renovation.
Will vinyl last in Dubai’s climate?
Quality architectural films are made for interior use and handle normal temperature and humidity changes well. They should not be applied directly next to very hot surfaces such as an oven door without proper gaps. We advise on suitable areas and use the right film for each surface.
What affects the cost of vinyl wrapping
The price depends on the number and size of doors and panels, the condition of the surfaces, the film chosen and how complex the shapes are. Flat doors are faster to wrap than doors with grooves or raised panels. We give you a clear quote after seeing photos or visiting.
